The marketplace where designers compete for your brief, every file is watermarked before you pay, and theft is technically impossible.
βSubmitted a watermarked draft in under an hour. Client paid immediately. Zero drama.β
βFinally a platform that protects my work before I hand it over. The fingerprinting alone is worth it.β
From brief to clean file, every step is monitored and protected.
Describe what you want, set a budget range, pick a deadline.
Designers submit watermarked work. Every file is auto-fingerprinted.
Open a monitored chat. Make offers, counter-offer, agree on a price.
Pay the agreed amount. The clean file unlocks instantly.
Whether you're hiring or creating, Briefd has you covered.
Every file is fingerprinted on upload. Every chat is private and logged. Every payment is held in escrow until you choose to release it. Protection is built into every step β not bolted on.
Every submission has an invisible fingerprint embedded in the image data. It survives cropping, screenshotting, and re-uploads β perfect for DMCA enforcement.
Clean files only unlock after payment fires. Designers get paid automatically via Stripe Connect. No manual transfers, no disputes.
Any attempt to communicate outside Briefd results in immediate account suspension. This protects designers and clients equally β no chasing, no disputes.
For Open Submission briefs, clients pay a one-time fee upfront β but that fee goes to designers, not Briefd. Work Request briefs have no upfront fee at all. Either way, our own commission (8-12%) only comes out of the final price once a deal actually closes.
Rates apply progressively, like tax brackets β each rate only applies to the slice of your budget within that tier, so the fee always goes up with your budget even as the blended rate trends down. This upfront fee only applies to Open Submission briefs β Work Requests have none. It's paid out to the designer you choose, or split between designers whose work you viewed if no one's chosen. Briefd's own cut (8-12%) is withheld automatically from the final negotiated price when a deal closes, so designers keep 88-92% of what they negotiate.
